Tag a game

Every tag is a clip and a stat in one motion.

  1. 1
Open the game in the Film room

Attach the film, set the period marks and which way you attack in the first period, and tagging aligns with the clock.

  2. 2
    Tag with hotkeys

Each tag type has a key: G for goal, S for shot, and so on. Press it at the moment, pick the player from the roster strip, and the clip's window is set from the type's pre- and post-roll. Every tag becomes a clip and, when the type maps to a stat, a stat.

  3. 3
    Shots, faceoffs, special teams

Shot mode records location on the rink for shot maps. Faceoffs mark won or lost. Penalties create the power-play and penalty-kill windows automatically, so PP% and PK% need no extra work.

  4. 4
    Review and fix

The clip list lets you adjust a clip's start and end, change the player, or delete a tag. Marking the game 'tagging complete' tells the team the film is ready when auto-publish is on.
