Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-23. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It's part of our Terms of Service.
What we collect
Account data — email, name, and profile details you provide. Sign-in is via email link or Google; we never see your Google password.
Content you create — drills, plans, playbooks, posts, messages, photos, and video you upload. Team and athlete data entered by coaches (rosters, schedules, stats, evaluations, goals) is visible according to the roles and sharing settings in the product.
Payment data — handled by Stripe. We store subscription status and plan, never full card numbers.
Usage data — standard logs and analytics (Google Analytics on marketing pages) to keep the service working and improve it.
How we use it
To operate the service (hosting, video processing, notifications you asked for), secure it, provide support, process payments, and improve features. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us: Supabase (database & authentication), Cloudflare (media storage & delivery), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in, analytics), and email/push delivery providers. Content you share inside BenchIQ is visible to the people you share it with (your team, club, or the community if you publish). We disclose data if the law requires it.
Youth athletes
BenchIQ is used by teams that include minors. Minor athletes participate under a guardian's account and consent. Anything that exposes an athlete beyond their team — public profiles, share links, film submissions — is off by default and requires explicit adult action, and can be revoked. Guardians may request access to or deletion of their athlete's data at any time.
Retention & deletion
We keep data while your account is active. Deleting content moves it to trash and then removes it; deleting your account removes your personal data except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Backups age out on a fixed schedule.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-scoped in the product and enforced at the database layer, and media is served through signed, expiring URLs. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong, unique sign-in email and report anything suspicious.
Your choices
You can access and edit your profile, control notification and consent settings in the app, export your drills, and delete content or your account. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, portability, erasure) — contact us and we'll honor them.
Changes & contact
We'll post updates here and flag material changes in the app. Questions: Help & Support in the app.
