Objective: 2v2 where you score by hitting your partner through a side gate — forces the east-west passes that break defenses. Setup: Square playing area with a cone gate centered on each side wall. Two teams of two, coach spots pucks. Execution: Score by completing a pass THROUGH either gate to your partner arriving behind it. The receiver can't camp behind a gate — he must arrive as the pass is released. Defenders play the lanes; steals go the other way instantly. 45-second shifts. Coaching points: The gate opens when the defense leans to the puck — hold it one beat longer. Passer and receiver time it together: eye contact, then GO. Fake through one gate, score through the other.
