Backhand Feed From the Wall

O-ZoneAdvanced2v1PassingPuck Control
Objective: Protect on the wall and deliver the backhand feed to the slot — the cycle's money pass. Setup: Puck carrier on the half wall with a checker leaning on him, shooter posting up in the slot. Execution: Carrier protects with his body — back to the pressure, puck on the far hip. Slot man times his post-up and calls; carrier feeds a backhand pass off the hip, no wind-up. Shooter releases immediately. Rotate: shooter to wall, checker to shooter, wall to checker. Coaching points: The backhand feed hides behind your body — the checker never sees it leave. Feel the pressure with your body, find the slot with your eyes. Slot man arrives as the feed does — post up too early and you're covered.
