Blue-Line Agility W
Neutral ZoneIntermediate1v0Skating/Edges
Objective: A W of forward-backward transitions across the neutral zone — pivots that keep their speed. Setup: Four cones in a W between the blue lines. Line of players at the top wall. Execution: Skate forward to the first cone, pivot backward ON it — no stop — and skate backward to the next. Pivot forward at that cone and repeat the W to the far wall. Alternate which shoulder leads the pivot each rep; add a puck round three. Coaching points: Pivot on an arc and carry your speed — a stop-and-turn is a failed rep. Eyes up ice on every backward segment; the shoulder check is automatic. Backward speed comes from crossovers, not swizzles, between cones.
