Double Regroup Rocket

Full IceNeutral ZoneAdvanced1v0RegroupConditioning
Objective: Two full regroups before the attack is allowed — forwards learn to reload with speed twice, using both D pairs. Setup: Three forwards and two D pairs (one at each blue line). Coach spots the puck to the first pair. Execution: Forwards attack up ice; the first D pair regroups them — D-to-D, hit the swing, go. At the far blue line the second D pair turns them back: regroup number two, same standards. Off the second regroup the attack is live — stretch winger takes the long pass, walk-in, shoot. Coaching points: The second swing must be as fast as the first — this is where habits crack. Every regroup changes sides: D-to-D FIRST, then north. Stretch man: time the blue line, arrive flying — the long pass is the reward for two honest reloads.
