Bump-and-Go Circuit

Half IceIntermediate1v0PassingPuck Control
Objective: Chain two give-and-gos through stationary bumpers and finish with a shot — the puck moves, the player sprints. Setup: Two bumpers stationed between the blue line and the slot, line of skaters with pucks at the top of the zone. Execution: Skater carries in and bumps to the first bumper, then sprints past for the return. Repeat with the second bumper — bump, burst, catch in stride. Finish with a quick low shot. Skater replaces bumper one; bumpers rotate up. Coaching points: Give it and GO — the pass buys you two free strides, use them. Bumpers: one touch, out in front of the sprinting player. Catch the second return with your feet still accelerating — that's the whole drill.
