Cross-Seam Hunt

O-ZoneAdvanced3v2Passing
Objective: Find and hit the cross-seam pass through a shifting defensive box — patience, then precision. Setup: Three attackers around the perimeter, two passive defenders shading the middle. Goalie live. Execution: Attackers move the puck on the perimeter, faking shots to make the defenders lean. When the seam between the two defenders opens, hit the cross-seam feed hard and flat. The weak-side attacker one-touches or quick-releases; backdoor man cleans up rebounds. Coaching points: Fake the shot lane FIRST — the seam only opens when the box leans. Seam passes are the hardest pass on the ice: firm, flat, blade-height. If it's not on, keep it — a forced seam pass is a breakaway the other way.
