Crossover Diamond Relay

Objective: Crossover mechanics with a scoreboard — kids cross over when there's a relay on the line. Setup: Four cones in a diamond. Two teams lined up at the wall, one puckless lap each. Execution: First skater loops the whole diamond, crossing over through every corner of it. Tag the next teammate's glove; first team with everyone done and seated wins. Round two goes the other direction; round three add a puck. Coaching points: Crossovers through the corners — striding straight past a cone is a restart. Push with BOTH feet: under-push is where the speed is. Stay low around the cone, stand up on the straightaway.
