Give-and-Go the Length

Full IceIntermediate1v0Warm-upPassing
Objective: Partner give-and-go the full length of the ice — passing on the move, at speed, with a finish. Setup: Pairs on the goal line, one puck per pair. Goalie in the far net. Execution: Partners skate the length together, a lane apart: pass at the red line, return pass at the far blue. Both passes happen in full stride — the pair never slows down. First skater finishes with a shot; both stop at the net, then peel to the corners. Next pair leaves at the red line. Coaching points: Lead the skater — passes arrive where he WILL be. Cushion the catch: soft hands at speed, no bobbles. Communicate: a stick tap calls for it, every time.
