Horseshoe Warm-Up — Pass & Shoot
Full IceBeginner1v0Warm-upPassingShooting/Scoring
Objective: Full-speed skating warm-up with a timed breakout pass and a shot in stride. Setup: Two lines in the corners at one end, pucks with each line. Goalie in the far net. Execution: F1 leaves the bottom line, skates around the near circle and builds speed through the middle. The first player in the opposite line hits F1 with a firm pass between the red line and far blue line. F1 attacks wide and shoots in stride — no gliding into the shot. The passer becomes the next skater; alternate sides continuously. Coaching points: Stick on the ice, give a target early. Tape-to-tape leading passes — make the receiver reach forward, never back. Shoot off the pass within two strides; follow the shot for a rebound.
