Lost-Draw Scramble Script

D-ZoneHalf IceIntermediate5v5FaceoffsBackcheck/D-Zone
Objective: Script the loss — when the D-zone draw goes back to their point, five players execute the recovery in one beat. Setup: Full D-zone faceoff alignment. Every rep is a scripted LOSS: the draw goes back to the opposing point man. Execution: The draw is lost clean to the point; that's the trigger, not the disaster. C ties up the opposing center's stick; the wall winger explodes at the point man's release hand. D2 fronts the net-forward, D1 holds the strong post. Survive five seconds, then live until the clear. Coaching points: Everyone moves on the loss — a frozen half second is a screened shot against. Winger attacks the shooting hand on an arc, stick in the lane the whole way. C's tie-up is a win even when the draw isn't — no easy second touch for their center.
