Odd-Man Escalator
Full IceElite3v2TransitionConditioning
Objective: The escalating wave drill: 2v1 becomes 3v2 becomes 4v3 — every save or goal launches the next bigger wave with zero rest for the defense. Setup: Goalies in both nets. Forward waves staged at center, D waves at the blue line. Coach feeds each wave instantly. Execution: Wave one: 2v1 to the far net. The moment it dies, wave two attacks 3v2 the other way. Wave three goes 4v3 back again — same defenders stay on through consecutive waves before rotating. Attackers get one rush; defenders survive the full escalator, then everyone rotates one role. Coaching points: Every wave: middle drive first — numbers mean nothing in the outside lanes. Defenders on wave two and three are tired and outnumbered: protect the slot, give the wall shot. The extra attacker is the LATE one — trailers score on tired coverage.
