One-Touch Tempo Triangle
Half IceIntermediate1v0Passing
Objective: One-touch passing in a moving triangle — catch and release faster than defenders can shift. Setup: Groups of three in a triangle roughly 25 feet per side, one puck per group. Execution: Move the puck around the triangle one-touch only — no catches, no stickhandles. After every pass, relocate two hard strides to a new spot; the triangle drifts around the zone. Thirty seconds on, rotate direction; add a second puck for the final round. Coaching points: Blade angle does the passing — meet the puck with the target already picked. Feet always moving; a standing one-touch is a fake rep. If the puck's dying, the triangle is too big — shrink to game distance.
