Overload Wall Triangle

O-ZoneIntermediate3v2PassingPuck Control
Objective: Overload one side of the zone and keep the triangle alive — the wall man always has two outlets. Setup: Three attackers stacked on the strong-side wall and slot vs two passive defenders. Goalie live. Execution: Wall man works under token pressure with a low support and a high slot option — a moving triangle. Move it low, re-support, then pop it high; the third pass is a shot with traffic arriving. Thirty seconds of possession, then the defenders go live for thirty. Coaching points: The wall man ALWAYS has two outlets — low support and high slot; never force the middle. Re-form the triangle after every pass; a flat triangle has no seams. Shots come off the third pass or quicker — overloads die when you over-pass.
