Shot, Swarm, Re-Forecheck

Objective: The point shot isn't the end of the possession — re-pressure the rebound before their breakout starts. Setup: Our D shoots from the point with three forwards in the zone; two opponents retrieve every rebound. Execution: D1 gets the shot through; the rebound squirts to the corner and the opponent retrieves. F1 (nearest) re-pressures the retrieval instantly; F2 seals the wall below the goal line. F3 slides to the middle as the new high man. Steal = play it out live; exit = reset and repeat. Coaching points: The shot is the trigger, not the finish — the first second after it decides possession. Nearest man goes, no matter his position — jobs, not names. F3 protects the middle of the ice first; the counter dies before it starts.
