Three-Station Edge Circuit
U8U10Cross-Ice / Small AreaBeginner1v0Skating/Edges
Objective: Three edge stations running at once — maximum reps, minimum standing, perfect for shared ice. Setup: Zone split into three lanes: one-foot glide cones up top, an edge circle in the middle, a stop-start lane at the bottom. Execution: Station 1: skate the cone line gliding on ONE foot between cones — alternate feet. Station 2: skate the marked circle leaning in on edges, both directions. Station 3: skate the lane with a full stop every three strides, alternating stop sides. Whistle rotates groups every 4 minutes. Coaching points: One-foot glides: bend the standing knee, arms out like wings if needed. On the circle: nose over the inside knee — lean, don't steer. Stops spray snow both directions — the weak side gets equal reps.
