Three-Team Relay Rings

Full IceBeginner1v0ConditioningSkating/Edges
Objective: Straight-up relay racing — out, around the center circle, back, tag — conditioning that players beg to repeat. Setup: Three teams stacked on the goal line. One skater per team goes at a time. Execution: Sprint out, one full lap around the center circle, sprint home, tag the next skater's glove. First team with everyone home and seated wins the round. Round two goes around the circle the other way; round three everyone carries a puck. Coaching points: Tags are glove-to-glove at the line — leaving early restarts your whole team. Crossovers around the circle, low and leaning — the circle is where races are won. Losers collect pucks; winners pick the next race.
