Cone Maze — Heads-Up Hands

Objective: Stickhandle through traffic with your eyes up — the maze punishes puck-watchers. Setup: Five cones in a serpentine line. Coach stands at the end holding up numbers. Execution: Weave the maze at increasing speed, alternating which side you take each cone. Coach flashes fingers mid-run — player must call the number out loud (proves eyes are up). Finish with a quick shot or a pass to the next player in line. Coaching points: Puck moves side-to-side ahead of you, not underneath you. Soft top hand, bottom hand just guides. Add a fake at every third cone once clean.
