Crash the Far Post

O-ZoneHalf IceIntermediate1v0Shooting/Scoring
Objective: Pair shooting with a far-post crash — the second goal-scorer's habit that never gets coached enough. Setup: Two lines at the circle tops, pucks with one side. Goalie live. Execution: Shooter drives a low shot at the FAR pad from the top of his circle. The opposite-side partner times a crash to the far post, stick on the ice. Crasher taps home anything the pad kicks out; lines swap jobs each rep. Coaching points: Shoot for the far pad on purpose — the rebound pops to the crasher's lane. Crasher arrives WITH the puck, not before it — early means boxed out in games. Stick blade flat on the ice through the crash; hands finish, feet keep moving.
