Glove-Box Handling Stations
U8U10Cross-Ice / Small AreaBeginner1v0Puck Control
Objective: Stationary stickhandling boxes — thousands of touches in ten minutes, every kid with a puck. Setup: Three small boxes marked with gloves or lines, one group per box, every player with a puck. Execution: 30 seconds per pattern: wide-to-wide, narrow quick hands, front-to-side around the body. Eyes on the coach the whole time — the coach holds up fingers and kids call the number. Finish each round with 10 seconds of 'as fast as you can without losing it'. Coaching points: Top hand does the work, bottom hand loose — let the stick rotate in the bottom glove. Puck on the middle of the blade, cupped both directions. Soft hands beat fast hands — quiet puck, no clacking.
