Half-Wall Shot Redirects

O-ZoneHalf IceAdvanced1v0Shooting/Scoring
Objective: Redirect shots from the half wall — the sneaky-angle deflection that beats set goalies. Setup: Shooters with pucks on the half wall, redirect man starting mid-slot. Goalie live. Execution: Shooter walks off the wall a step and fires a hard, low shot at the far pad. Redirect man times a lateral slide across the mid-slot and gets his blade on it. Five shots, then swap shooter and redirect man; alternate which side the slide comes from. Coaching points: The slide and the release happen together — leave early and the goalie tracks you. Blade meets the puck IN FRONT of the body, angled to the far corner. Shooter's job is honest: hard, low, and on the redirect line every time.
