Heads-Up Alley Swap

U8Cross-Ice / Small AreaBeginner1v0Puck Control
Objective: Everyone dribbles in a shared alley with their eyes up — the whistle steals your puck and the scramble begins. Setup: A marked alley about 30 feet wide. Four to eight players inside, every player with a puck. Execution: All players stickhandle and weave inside the alley at the same time — no collisions allowed. On the whistle: leave your puck instantly and claim someone else's before the coach counts three. Last player without a puck does the next demo. Shrink the alley each round. Coaching points: Eyes UP — the game punishes puck-watchers with traffic. Small touches in traffic; big touches get stolen by the whistle. Move to open ice inside the alley — corners are where pucks get trapped.
