Low-Slot Quick Hands
U10U12O-ZoneHalf IceBeginner1v0Shooting/Scoring
Objective: High-repetition finishing from the low slot — one touch, one move, low shot. Setup: Pucks spotted in the low slot, line of shooters at the half wall. Goalie live. Execution: Skate to a spotted puck with speed — arrive on your forehand side. One touch to settle, one small move to change the angle, then shoot low. Five pucks each, count your goals, back of the line. Loser of each round collects pucks. Coaching points: The move is small — six inches of blade movement changes the goalie's angle. Shoot LOW: pads-edge and five-hole score here, glove-high gets caught. Feet keep moving through the whole rep — no standing over the puck.
