Shootout Move Menu
Full IceAdvanced1v0Shooting/ScoringPuck Control
Objective: Build a personal shootout menu: three go-to moves, rehearsed until they're automatic. Setup: Pucks at center ice, shooters attack one at a time. Goalie live and competing. Execution: Each shooter declares a menu of three moves (e.g. forehand-back, fake-shot five-hole, wide-in tuck). Attack from center: move one on rep one, move two on rep two, move three on rep three. Round two: goalie calls a random number as the shooter crosses the blue line — execute that move. Coaching points: Pick the move BEFORE the red line and commit — hesitation is the goalie's best friend. Change of pace beats raw speed: slow-slow-FAST through the move. Every move ends with the puck at the net — a deke without a finish is a turnover.
