Four-Corner Chaos
U10U12Cross-Ice / Small AreaBeginner1v1Small-Area GamesBattles/Compete
Objective: Four simultaneous 1v1 possession games in four boxes — maximum touches, zero standing around. Setup: Split the zone into four boxes with markers. One 1v1 pair and one puck per box. Execution: Possession scores: hold the puck in your box for 10 seconds to earn a point. Stripped? Steal it back — the clock restarts on every change of possession. On the whistle, everyone leaves the puck and rotates one box clockwise to a new opponent. Coaching points: Small box = body position wins, not speed. Keep your body between man and puck. Use the corner of the box like a wall to spin off pressure. New box, new opponent — read their reach before your first move.
