Man-Up Minute 3v2

O-ZoneCross-Ice / Small AreaIntermediate3v2Small-Area GamesPower Play
Objective: A 45-second small-area power play: three attackers move two killers until a lane opens — clears count for the kill team. Setup: Zone game to one net, goalie live. Three attackers in a triangle vs two penalty killers. Execution: Attackers rotate the puck to move the two killers — one-touch when possible. Kill team earns a point for every clear past the blue line; attackers score normally. 45-second reps, then rotate the killers — everyone plays both roles. Coaching points: The extra man is only extra if the puck moves faster than the killers' feet. Shoot off the pass, not off the stickhandle — the lane closes in half a second. Killers: sticks in one lane, body taking away another — two-for-one every position.
