Slot Lockout 3v3

Objective: 3v3 where nobody may enter the slot until the puck does — teaches attackers to arrive ON TIME instead of standing in coverage. Setup: Zone game to one net, goalie live. The slot is marked; two teams of three play outside it. Execution: No attacker may enter the marked slot until the puck enters it (a shot or a pass inside). Move the puck around the perimeter to shift the defense, then shoot or slip a seam pass in. The instant the puck crosses the line, everyone crashes — rebounds are live. Coaching points: Standing in the slot early is the easiest cover in hockey — timing beats camping. Shooters: shoot for a rebound on purpose when the crash is loaded. Defenders learn it too: box out the CRASH, not the camper.
