Two-Net Duel 1v1

U8U10Cross-Ice / Small AreaBeginner1v1Small-Area Games
Objective: Cross-ice 1v1 with a net on each wall — every player attacks and defends on the same shift. Setup: Cross-ice area with two small cone nets on opposite walls. Pairs staged on both boards; coach spots pucks. Execution: Coach spots a puck; both players race to it — winner attacks either net, loser defends both. Lose the puck and the roles flip instantly — no whistles, no resets. 30-second shifts, next pair jumps in on the fly. Coaching points: First touch decides the game — race to arrive first, not just fast. Attack the net the defender ISN'T guarding — change targets with a fake. Losing the puck is not the end — reload and steal it back.
