Wave Builder 2v1 to 3v2
Full IceAdvanced3v2Transition
Objective: Odd-man waves that build: the 2v1 attackers become backcheckers as three fresh forwards attack 3v2 the other way. Setup: Goalies in both nets. Forward waves staged at center on the wall; D pairs at the far blue line. Execution: Wave one attacks 2v1 to a shot or a kill. On the shot, three new forwards attack 3v2 back the other way against a fresh D pair — the two shooters sprint back as backpressure. The wave that fails to get a shot on net does a down-and-back before rejoining. Coaching points: Odd-man rushes have a shot clock — attack the middle and shoot before help arrives. 2v1: make the D commit; the pass option and shot option must BOTH be real. Backpressure changes everything — feel it and shoot early rather than force the extra pass.
