Circle Keep-Away 1v1

Cross-Ice / Small AreaIntermediate1v1Puck ControlBattles/Compete
Objective: Pure puck protection: body between man and puck for 30 straight seconds. Setup: One pair per faceoff circle, one puck. The circle is the boundary. Execution: Attacker protects the puck inside the circle for 30 seconds; checker tries to steal. Leave the circle or lose the puck = roles swap immediately. Score: seconds of possession. Winners move up a circle, losers down (king of the rink). Coaching points: Back to the pressure, puck on the far hip. Feel the checker with your body — don't watch him. Use escape turns off the circle's edge like a wall.
