Corner Bank Escape
D-ZoneAdvanced2v1PassingBreakout
Objective: Trapped in the corner with pressure closing? The wall is always open — bank it behind the forechecker. Setup: Puck carrier in the corner, one live forechecker closing, support partner on the wall above. Execution: Forechecker attacks the corner; carrier has one second to solve it. Carrier banks the puck off the wall behind the pressure to the support man. Support catches it clean, carries out of the zone, and attacks the near net to finish the rep. Coaching points: Get your feet perpendicular to the wall — banks fail when your hips face the checker. Firm enough to beat the pressure, soft enough for your partner to handle. Support man: stay off the wall until the bank leaves, then attack the spot.
