Crash Timing off the Draw

O-ZoneHalf IceIntermediate5v5FaceoffsShooting/Scoring
Objective: The draw win means nothing if nobody's at the net — time the winger crash to arrive WITH the point shot. Setup: Alignment at an offensive-zone dot; C wins to the point D on every rep. Wingers rep the crash timing. Execution: C wins it back to the point; D walks the line to open his lane. Both wingers hold their draw positions until the D's wind-up — then crash near post and mid-slot. Shot arrives with the bodies: tip, screen, rebound. Reset and run it from the other dot. Coaching points: Leave on the wind-up, not the release — arrive as the puck does. Sticks on the ice through the crash: tips come from blades, not skates. First winger takes the goalie's eyes, second takes the rebound ice.
