Pass-Out Denial
D-ZoneAdvanced1v0Goalie
Objective: Kill the play from behind the net: the goalie's stick takes away the pass-out lane while his body seals the wrap. Setup: Attacker with pucks below the goal line, a second attacker floating in the slot, goalie live. Execution: Carrier walks behind the net looking for a wraparound OR a pass-out to the slot. Goalie tracks post-to-post, body sealing the wrap, stick blade flat in the pass-out lane. If the pass-out escapes, the slot shot comes immediately — goalie must beat the puck across. Ten reps, alternate sides. Coaching points: The stick kills the first option so your body only has to beat the second. Post-to-post with eyes THROUGH the net — never lose the puck behind you. Deny the wrap with the post seal; deny the pass with the paddle. Two jobs, one position.
