Recovery Rapid-Fire

D-ZoneElite1v0GoalieConditioning
Objective: Three stations fire in sequence and the goalie has to save, recover, push, and be SET three times in six seconds. Setup: Three shooters in an arc — high left, mid slot, low right — each with pucks. Coach counts the sequence. Execution: Shots come in a fixed order first (left, middle, right), one second apart. Goalie makes the save, recovers to his feet or into his push, and arrives set for the next release. Round two: coach calls the order randomly. Round three: shooters go on their own reads. Coaching points: Eyes lead every recovery — find the next puck BEFORE the body moves. Recover to your feet when there's time, push on your knees only when there isn't. Arriving set for shot three is the whole drill — no drifting saves.
