Regroup & Re-Attack Chain
Full IceNeutral ZoneAdvanced1v0PassingRegroup
Objective: When the entry isn't there, the puck goes back — D-to-D flips the ice and the second wave attacks. Setup: Forward with a puck at center, two D at the defensive blue line, second forward wide. Execution: Forward attacks, reads a closed entry, and turns back to D1 — no forcing the line. D1 to D2 changes the side while both forwards reload with speed. D2 hits the first forward swinging; he carries wide and finds the second wave for the finish. Coaching points: Puck back to the D is not retreat — it's the setup for the real attack. Forwards reload DEEP and with speed; a flat-footed regroup is a turnover. D-to-D first, always — attacking the same side twice is what defenses want.
