RVH Post Ladder
D-ZoneIntermediate1v0Goalie
Objective: Post integration reps: seal the RVH on the dead-angle attack, then explode out square when the puck jumps to the slot. Setup: Attacker with pucks in the corner, a second shooter in the slot, goalie live. Coach controls tempo. Execution: Attacker walks the puck below the goal line toward the post — goalie drops into RVH and seals: post arm, pad, no five-hole daylight. The attacker either jams short-side or passes out to the slot shooter. On the pass-out, goalie pushes off the post, arrives square and SET for the shot. Five reps each post. Coaching points: RVH is a seal, not a slump — pressure INTO the post, head over the short side. Track the puck below the goal line with your eyes, not by opening your body. The push out of RVH leads with the eyes and the stick — square beats fast.
