Three-Puck Second Effort

D-ZoneElite1v1Battles/CompeteConditioning
Objective: One 1v1, three spotted pucks, zero recovery — the rep that finds out who competes when the legs are gone. Setup: One pair in the zone, goalie live. Coach has pucks spotted in both corners and at the point. Execution: Battle 1: race to the corner puck, play it out until a goal, freeze, or clear. The INSTANT it ends, coach points to puck two in the far corner — sprint and battle again. Puck three at the point finishes the rep: battle, then the winner walks in and shoots. ~35 seconds of war. Coaching points: The second effort is the drill — the first battle is just the warm-up. Skate THROUGH fatigue posture: knees bent, back flat, eyes up. Whoever arrives at puck two with a plan wins puck two.
